Black Embrace

Destined to fail, I took my first breath of life
No faith that guides me, nothing to strive for
I carry the weight of the world
And beg for redemption everyday
And if my life should come to an end
There’s no doubt I would be dammed

So I keep struggling with the tension that is rising inside of me
Denying! Defying my creed! My sanity!

Neglected emotions, confined deeper within my soul
I am decaying organic matter, that has lost its will to live

Trying to thrive in this puny life of mine
