Figure It Out

I lost my balance and I fell to the floor.
A different perspective no less and no more
Gets harder to get up everytime I go down
But the struggle to get up is what keeps me around
Out of all the things I know
I see that most of it comes slow
And the things that keep me on the ground
are what I want around

So check that water before you go in
Cause unseen changes might endanger your swim
Before you know it you're carried away
And somebody somewhere might need you someday

Out of all the things I find
I'll keep the ones that keep my mind
The things that plant me in the ground
Are what I want around.

Here's the way that the deal goes down
Life's passed out and there's nothing you can do
about the fools around you but keep your guard up
remember to breathe
And I figure it out every now and then
When I look around at this place I'm in
Then I let someone pinch me
So I'll know I'm alive.
