Cruzarás el desierto árido,You shall cross the barren desert,
pero no morirás de sed.but you shall not die of thirst.
Vagarás lejos en seguridad,You shall wander far in safety,
aunque no conozcas el camino.though you do not know the way.

Dirás tus palabras en tierras extranjeras,You shall speak your words in foreign lands,
y todos entenderán,and all will understand,
Verás el rostro de Dios y vivirás.You shall see the face of God and live.

yo voy delante de ti siempre,I go before you always,
Ven sígueme,Come follow Me,
y te daré descanso.and I shall give you rest.

Si atraviesas aguas turbulentasIf you pass through raging waters
en el mar, no te ahogarás.in the sea, you shall not drown.
Si caminas entre las llamas ardientes,If you walk amidst the burning flames,
no serás dañado.you shall not be harmed.

Si te enfrentas al poder del infiernoIf you stand before the pow'r of hell
y la muerte está a tu lado,and death is at your side,
sabe que estoy contigo, a través de todo.know that I am with you, through it all

pues un día reirán.for one day you shall laugh.

Y si hombres malvados te insultan y odian, todo por mi causa,And if wicked men insult and hate you, all because of Me,
¡benditos, benditos sean ustedes!blessed, blessed are you!
