You could have left the world in shame to let us wander lost and all alone

But to our surprise You chose life against every odd
To show Your heart, to prove the truth that You alone are God

Because of love all of the world was changed
There is a brand new page and the story now forever was rewritten
Because of love I have eternity
When You gave to me the one thing that I don't deserve
And I can't believe the price that I was worth because of love

There is a ray of hope where only darkness used to be
And we can see the light that leads us home
Oh, we can have a life that even death can't take away
'Cause the power of Your love won't let us go
So I have come to honor the One that gave this gift of grace
The only One worthy of my praise
