When He Comes

Well the day is comin', when a child will lead
Every beast of the field with a tender voice he sings
And then the lion and lamb will lay down beside
The promise of a thousand years and the reign of Christ
No evil in sight

When he comes in glory, all the little stories
That we heard as children are gonna help us stand

With the word that's spoken, all sin's power is broken
Then that's when he'll bring us to another land

If ever there's comin' in a wink of an eye
The Boss Man knows no the angels nor you and I
And if you ever have a doubt that holds you down
Or whenever you need a twist or a turn around
And Christ's love is found
