He's Here

Forty and two generations,
Jesus came to save nations,

He was foretold by the prophets and they prophesied
that He would one day come (He'd come, He'd come).
And they said He'd be a ruler and of His kingdom
there would be no end (no end, no end).

And for those who needed healing, He'll be there to heal,
He'll be looking for the poor and weary too.

I can never understand Him, how and why
He came to love me so (He loves me so),
How He sees me as so precious and He gives
His truths and His promises to me (to me, to me).

And I thank Him for the moments He has given me,
and for those who don't believe that He ever came
