La Nuit Noir

With lunar skies and in hidden fires
I fear I'll find you there
With empty eyes of worlds gone by
Full of wishes bound to bear
A stance, cold in the moment
And ages of freezing lies
To try to keep the eternal and the taken

One day will sound like Autumn
A dream with dread
And so I saw, I saw myself in wires
Tying someone's hands

Though this sense, this sense will creep by
But stay in sight
I only feel the theft in daylight
In the middle of the night
