Two Part God, one part man
Builder of a city so grand
In search of immortality
Crossing from land to land

Carved his deeds in stone
He's got a tale to tell
Fighting both demons and men
And gruesome visions of hell

Gilgamesh, wish to be immortal
Gilgamesh, everything got an end

In a sudden fear of dying
Swam to the bottom of the sea
There a magical plant grows
Forever young he wants to be

Across the waters of death
He fell asleep on the ground
A snake consumed the plant
With the mortals he's bound
