Hunger

A modern gloom arrives a persistent span of lies
Molds and vitiates this stricken strain of life
Infected deluded, beguiled by such promise
Believe in what is heard
Have no fear for this earth bears no fruit, just starve and find peace
I feast upon the garden, reigning atop forbidden ground

Cause I'm a monster
The carcasses shall feed the bastard
Lurking silently in hunger
Determined to bleed the death star
In hunger death defined

The ways of water shift beneath my feet
Gazing downward at the rushing reflection of malice
Haunting passages bleed over through time
Corrupting, denying, warping every breath they take
Appearing to walk on water I merely step through surge
Crushing the bones of the condemned

Monster
