Living In The Skies

We live our lives and start each day
Without purpose and everything misplaced
Not seeing beyond ourselves
We have believed in fallacies (in lies)
We don't seem to care the tears in their eyes
We're not living down on earth
We're living in the skies

What about those in the streets
With no shelter and no place to sleep
And those who steal to have
All the things we take for granted
Why don't we seem to care the tears in their eyes?
