A Silent Journey

Once I met a wise man in the corridors of loneliness
Where your humble living makes you hurt like hell
These days have frightened me so much
That I was unable to touch
The inner meaning of my time on earth
He said:
"Son, you couldn't do it by yourself.
You're gonna need those friends to fight the plan.
Happiness is not easeful!
Hear the thought of your new school!
And if you only had to remember a single word:

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, Only LOVE can fight the devil's plan
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, Only LOVE will make you a better man"

Then I continued to walk to the terminus of hopeless folks
They were tearing pages from the Book of LOVE
The only person that I saw,
On the fringe of this distressing row
Was a daring girl picking up the holy leaves
She said:
"You have to know that your troubles last,
Until you've built a graveyard for your past.
Future is not written yet.
You have a whole life to invent.
And don't think you could rescue me, I'm just your vision of reality."

Finally I felt neglected, I raised my head,
I saw a kid rising from the farthest part of me
He said:
"I can't be born again, just because I wasn't dead
Like all the things that used to live in you.
I'm the Hope when everybody's left.
I'm the Confidence when no one trusts in you.
Don't give up on your deepest dreams. Let them shine like some sunbeams.
And with every line of every poem, you may be invincible."
