Woken Up

Yesterday I woke up and I found
And I found that I could not get up
This was impossible and I didn’t know why

When I tried, my feet were covered in
A heavy thing that would not let in
While I waited, I was crying to get out

Now the voice keeps talking to me
And I walk daily in my broken nest
I tell it I am ready and I know
