I even thought about giving up
When I saw the finish line in the distance
I felt that my strength wouldn't be enough
To reach it and receive my prize
But my thoughts flew
At an immeasurable speed

Then I found you in my days of struggle
When I fought with little strength to have you with me
Can you look into my eyes now? Can you feel the beating of my heart?
So just look at my face, wet with the tears I let fall

My tears fell like leaves in the wind, like rain in the middle of the night
I called you, I called your name, but you didn't answer me
Maybe my cries were just whispers
Come give me back my peace, let me smell your perfume again
The days are passing quickly like a bullet train
But in my mind only the memories of our victorious days remain
When we conquered the darkness together, and the Sun shone in our window

To toast with glasses of wine
