Fevers of evening spell our demise
Blood will boil as temperatures rise
The sweat rains down my body
Damnation from above
And I know the breaking point's been reached
When push comes to shove

Smoldering nights are alive
Come walk with me, feel the heat on the streets
The city it burns tonight
Tensions will crack, ourselves we attack
Smoldering knights come alive
As the guild breaks with the moves that we make
The pack might not make it tonight
We will eat our own, this kingdom no longer our home

And in my home a round table awaits
Vacant seats no prize on our plates
These nights, these hot summer nights
Are all too often making their way
And I fear these nights may become
Cold winter days
