The new year was cold and I lost a friend, driving in his car he put a gun up to his head,
while others have since been replaced by my enemies with a familiar face,

it felt better when I wasn't alone,
it felt better when I wasn't at home,
this place became a burden,
a place I had outgrown, time and distance made strangers out of everyone I know,

more desperate than I'd like to admit,
more weak than I see fit, more desperate than I would like to admit,

you lose one friend you lose all friends and you lose yourself,
