Lives led by city street signs
Moving to the same sequential pace
Constructed by repetitive design
There's no individuality in a box of matches
We're all just burning away
These empty shells no longer have any reason to sleep
For we can no longer dream
Reproduce destruction
Took away what made us different
We're so easily replaced
Write unread journal entries
The ink is blood
Safety is only in the shadows
In this age light hides from the dark
Selflessness lost all meaning
Pride is bleeding
In this selfish torment where all goes wrong
And nothings well, to end well
We forgot love
Exchanging blood
For a fake life
There's nothing real to gain
Carving fake smiles just to attempt to pass through the day
But these new medicines heal us so quickly
Feet of cement
Turning life to a statuette
Scream for someone to save you
They scream save yourself
