Writing To Erase Me

The windows shut
Blinds are closed
Doors lock
And I find myself trapped
Fighting with my heart
Crumpled papers drowning my thoughts
Keep writing and writing the story that broke my heart
Each word stabs me
My hand is cut by a shattered romance
I can't keep writing to finish
I just keeping writing to erase me but I can never reach the end

The walls are splitting from broken efforts
I can see the light through the cracks that are growing with each fall
But my pain is growing so large and my sand is falling
I'll never fit through to get out
I've lost all hope
