Addictive Pain

I fed those clouds with sombre hate
Now slowly drowning in the floods

To swim I thought my self alone
Through rain I sense its fertile mud
I know there’s light behind this dark
Now and forevermore

Wholehearted I beg lay me to rest
Wholeheartedly you numbed my chest
You addictive pain
You infected my brain

See see have I lastly grown stone cold
Covered up in irksome dark
Less foolish a fool is then a loon’s kiss
Gratefulness will guide me strong
Pain I will crave as end its dawn
But now and forevermore

Your wide open eyes, too blind to see
I portray a picture of misery
