An echo looms deep across the void
The cortex of the vortex destroyed
One by one the humans shift from the pestilence
The 25th hour of that starless evening
Blood loss from a nocturnal feeding
Two small holes only evident of this pretense

And the hunt begins.

The plunge grasps at your heart,
Tearing away at your breath,
An irresistible desire paralyzes your veins,

Seeping through open sores
