vanished memories of the lives that were lost
guilt-ridden fears hiding 'neath the broken mirrors
reflecting crimson tears
lustful heroes slaughtered all in their greed's path
arrogance leaves them unaware of the fallen's vengeful wrath

the overwhelming midnight sky
restlessness, an eerie force from the stars
felt by those who live and those who die

staring down at those on Earth the spirits never rest
waiting in purgatory, in between life and death
the vicious conquerors take their one final breath
for they will not live on
the glowing night turns a venomous red
Equilibrium gathers the souls of the dead
mourning turned to malvolence the corpses rise again
they will fight once more

the unavoidable midnight sky
Equilibrium has consumed the lustful mortals
succumbed to insanity's foul cry

strive for balance...

defining mortality like the blade of a knife

vengeance triumphs despite the heroes' confusion
for countless slaughters, a holy war of delusions

A distant void, an alternate dimension
churning energies in darkness and light
perfect harmony exists in this vortex
