Farewell Sacrament

My eyes are blurred
As my body weakens
I finally realize
This is my time

To be taken
To where I came from
My senses close
To open into a new plane

This will be my final act
As a being of this existence
I experienced all the trials
To learn the way

I tried to resist as long as I could
Because nobody is really prepared
Fear and ignorance keep us away
From whom we are in essence

Now I allow my spirit to break free
Now I’ll leave everything that falls apart
The light will be my savior
So that I can find the eternal life

This is the end of the cycle that starts the next
It’s needed to return and continue
Mind and feelings united in one
Soul that resonates with the spirit
