After a long time
Of confinement
Any of us
Could go mad

It is all a matter
Of perception
There is no simple way
To describe it

It is possible
That certain things
That were previously
Harmless

And necessary
To our lives
Now to become
Deadly

The light that hurts
Burning outside

Entering my eyes

I no longer feel
I belong to this plan

The duality
Of the universe
