Homecoming

A perfect October night by the riverside;
Sitting on the bench I thought until I almost cried.
The closest of my friends all gathered there that night.
A light goes off above my head. How ironic is this sight.

The caffeine's set in and the stars have all gone dim.

The headache's back again. I feel empty inside.
