Perpetual Agony

The sun once again rises
Stars in the sky still aglow
In the middle of a vast field
One mortal man stands low

A being who begs for salvation
Misguided in horror by evil thoughts
A voice inside cries out in desperation
For he has killed his only love

Let me be released from this nightmare
Remove all my sorrow and my pain
