Monoliths

Towers rising from the soil
Reaching the sky
Until the Sun is hidden
By their immensity

Remains
Of a ultra-rational cult
Preaching perfection
Submission to usefulness
Which satisfied the greed
Of those who conspired
At the top of the monoliths

Once an evidence of power
Now they stand still, powerless
With no more artificial lights
To show their strenght

Once an evidence of majesty
Now they stand in darkness
Which they created
