The hammer of the anvil falls;
The bow is strung, the hunt is on!
Come join the ring with us in dance...
The mountain Nymphs we love so,
Five fingers grasp best the sword
Wild and free on the mountaintop
The clash of iron on our shields
Wind in our hair, on with the dance!
Where thunderbolts of Zeus are born,
With such fire underneath our heels,
Hark! Forth from the deep abyss
A voice precedes the flash of light

Of dread sound and omens ills
Such as rises when a nation bleeds...

Dance, Kouretes dance -
To the loud music of the Gods!
