Unseen Emptiness

In the absence of modern thought
Through a small window of the old...
Yearning for something long since forgotten
Washed away by evolution
creation and destruction
But still, there remains, that... fleeting
Something extinct, deep in
the folds of the minds
One true moment of virtue, pure
Unseen by the soiled lens
I venture to a place that shows me my mind
A place of endless thirst for the unknown-
and the unknowing
In this place lies the key to the door
Through the next realm
Stepping over the final
stone of man's creation
Beyond the march of
law, or order, or logic
To a place that exists as pure thought
Far away from this broken heart
That bleeds a stream of betrayal
You are what you experience
Thus, through endless fields of pain
this vessel has reached its breaking point
for the last time
It is time to abort
