The Scars That Remain

A failed attempt, no hope for redemption
my head in hands, as i'm locked up inside this prison
the cold whispers, turned to tortured screams
and the voices, still have control of me
only i, can justify my violent actions

i should hate them, the whole cruel outside world
never understanding, what's been done to me

a thin line, that separates me from the world
the hard times, that led me to end this struggle

a hollow, vision of the future

a cry for help, my only way out
