I lie straight to my face
Feeling like an empty windowpane
My eyes dried - locked and wiped clean
I try not to hate myself

Both sides on me
Stay right or bleed
Difficult to see
Where I've come from
And where I belong
Face what's gone
What went wrong?
A plan to kill or leave
I've waited way too long
Hearts change; sealed, encased
Where I am is where I should be
