The Place of My Escape

Where our imagination took us
where with our eyes closed we see endless fields

Where the first light was born
the seed of the blue sky sprouted
I’ll return to that place where I was born

Of sun, wheat, and desire
are the hands in my hair
Of snow, hurricane, and abysses
the place of my escape

Wind that in its whisper seems to speak
moves the world and with grace you see it dance
and with it the stage of my home.

Sea, silver platter, sea, hellish
it’s a natural temperament
it costs little or nothing to be one more.

Of sun, wheat, and desire
are the hands in my hair
Of snow, hurricane, and abysses
the place of my escape,

Silence, breeze, and sanity
give breath to my madness
There’s snow, there’s fire, there are desires
there where I find my escape
