We’ve all been Judas we’ve all been betrayed
Included in Adam born and dismayed
Never asked to be born and sure don’t want to die
One man’s obedience brought truth to the lie

Had flames in my head and got a fire in my heart
Been salted baptized I am the worm that doesn’t die
Somebody been writing upon my human heart
Giving me life that don’t tear me a part

Shadows are illusion with painted black faces
Religion is a habit that can never save us
Heaven is a place very close to my heart
Hell was invented to keep us tore apart

When you live in the sewers paradise underground
A little bit of truth can sound so profound
As this ink dries and my eyes are open wide
All I can see is this vision that I write

I long for the day when we can be free
When every mind is open every spirit is freed
But that day is not for me to decide
So live life like you are never going to die

Just watching the stars there’s something in your eyes
