Devil Dancing

You won’t find the devil dancing around your door
But I heard him in every sound
That your fiddle implored

And his voice called me out on that killing floor
He struck me down to die

You drowned out his dreadful lies

I still hear that devil’s voice sometimes
But it’s growing fainter with every night
