Buried here alive in a blue sky
How could I forget, the breath of moments passed
I can see it now, fogged on cracking crowns
Further funneling the years back down
They are cradled, mystified, in a slow sun
Dazzled by demise, the fabrics our souls spun
I have seen them here, shake like chandeliers
Bodies blurred when wishes come undone

How is it clear?
Your words sang in my mind through all the good times

Enough’s enough
The sounding brass, released to fill my dream

Erupt, from mountains crass, invariant defeat

The rain, like shattered glass
