Let the resplendent trumpets soundFaçam soar trombetas fulgurantes
Announcing the victory of a KingÀ vitória de um Rei anunciando

Let the friendly earth also rejoiceAlegre-se também a terra amiga
Which shines amidst so many lightsQue em meio há tantas luzes resplandece
And seeing the ancient darkness dissipateE vendo dissipar-se a treva antiga
Shines and warms itself at the sound of the eternal KingAo som do eterno Rei brilha e se aquece

Let the mother Church also rejoice equallyQue a mãe Igreja alegre-se igualmente
Raising the candles of this new fireErguendo as velas deste fogo novo
And suddenly hear echoingE escutem, reboando de repente
