Remembering
On a nice day with nothing to do
We'll take a walk outside or two
Will you tell me about yourself
What the years have done to you

Though you're so close
You seem so far away
I don't know what to say
What do you think about my chosen path
For me, I wonder if it'll last

I looked down to the muddy ground
Not up to the bright blue sky
I looked around my shoulder
At the people passing by
And time, the killing time
That's ever expanding further
Sometimes I catch your eye remembering
