The lady once told me, you don’t need a house, you need a home
You can have it all, but it won’t mean a thing if you don’t belong
To someone who knows you, someone who cares
Someone who will listen when no one else is there

You found the end through the barrel of a smoking gun
You thought you had no options, you felt you couldn’t talk to anyone
And the friends that loved you won’t ever understand
