Well, i killed a girl in memphis, tenessee and i saw her cry
I was watching as the spark of life disappeared from her tear-dimmed eyes

But i'm out for blood, not for love or nothing else

It was sad to watch her die

Well, i brought my coffin to the train and took off to the very next town

That i brought her down

Next stop was a little blond, so lovely that i could make her mine
But i don't regret that we ever met, we both had a killer time
She said she felt a slight unease but i'm not out to please
