For the glory He foresaw, He humbled Himself to His Father.Pela glória que antevia, ao Seu Pai se humilhou.

It brings joy to the meek and converts the sinner;Alegria dá aos mansos e converte o pecador;

With a spear pierced was the body of the Lord,Com a lança transpassado foi o corpo do Senhor,
His redeeming blood was shed on the cross;Sobre a cruz foi derramado o Seu sangue remidor;
And through this sacrifice we receive salvation,E por esse sacrifício recebemos salvação,
The Gospel declares to us: Only in Christ there is forgiveness.O Evangelho nos declara: Só em Cristo há perdão.
