Luz inaccesible que te rodea:Light unapproachable encircling Thee:
Padre Todopoderoso, santificado sea Tu Nombre;Almighty Father, hallowed be Thy Name;
Quien siempre eres, inmutablemente el mismo.Who ever art, unchangeably the same.

Nos amas, de lo contrario nunca hubiéramos existido:Thou lovest us, else had we never been:

Para vivir esa vida humana sin igual,To live that human life beyond compare,

Tú sabes lo que somos, cuán frágiles y ciegos,Thou knowest what we are, how frail and blind,
Tú aún recuerdas que no somos más que polvo:Thou still rememb’rest that we are but dust:
Como un padre se compadece, Tú eres amable,Like as a father pitieth, Thou art kind,
Tu justicia bondadosa, y Tu bondad justa.Thy justice kindness, and Thy kindness just.
Entonces escucha la oración de Tus hijos desde Tu trono en el Cielo;Then hear Thy children’s prayer from Heav’n Thy throne;
