Alone Time

There's not much here for me
When I'm here I don't feel free
But when I'm there I feel alive
It's what I need to survive
No offense, you're all great
But it really is too late
To change my personality
It's just my reality
And I do not blame you
For questioning what I do
It doesn't matter
Well technically it matters to me
But it shouldn't matter to you

I don't need any substance in order to feel high
I can't stop you from asking why
Why I choose to live this way
It's no one's fault but mine
And trust me I'll be fine
As long as I have my alone time

I'm still in love with myself
With my purpose, with my health
And with the goal I have in mind
Just the thought helps me unwind
I don't doubt you're the same

I don't really have a clue
Despite what I think is true
I'm so pretentious
While I might be pretentious
I'm still no better than you

It isn't worth it

If the sights could come to me
