I see with the eyes of faith, His footsteps in the sandVejo com os olhos da fé, o Seus passos na areia
I see him on Mount Calvary, there he will expireVejo no monte calvário, alí expirar
I see him nailed to the cross, with a tender gazeVejo pregado na cruz, com olhar de ternura
Praying and saying to the Father: It is finishedOrando e dizendo ao Pai: Consumado está

God, from the highest heavens, watching over everythingDeus lá do alto céus, a tudo olhando
Seeing His son how hard it was to climb CalvaryVendo Seu filho quão duro ao calvário subir
I had the power to free him from that agonyTinha poder pra livra-lo daquela agonia
But it was a mystery at this hour, the fulfillment of the scriptureMas era mistério está hora, a escritura cumprir

Trampled by sins, without ever sinningPisado por pecados, sem nunca pecar
