People may think it's good, but I can't forget, the spring that fades away
人はよしおもいあむとも、わすれぬ、くれにけるはるひ
Hito wa yoshi omoiyamutomo, wasureenu, kurenikeru haruhi
The red petals fall to the ground, as the rain falls and the sky clears
くれないのこそめのつち、あめふりうつろあめやも
Kurenai no kosome no tsuchi, ame furite utsurowameyamo

Though the flowers bloom, my heart cannot meet happiness, every night
花はさけどもわがみはかなしみにあえず、よごとに
Hana wa sakedomo waga mi wa kanashimi ni aezu, yogoto ni
Thinking of those who cry, my color, we all leave our mark alone
なきひとおもおゆ、わがいろ、みなひとらがあとのしるし
