Facing Reality

Every passing second of each miserable day
You are merely watching your life fade away

Spoon-fed by the masses to be part of this shit they call life
While slowly taking away the goals upon which you may strive

Indulged with false morals since the moment you have been born
You feel trapped inside your own thoughts ,broken, emotionally torn

It becomes almost impossible for you to go on
Because deep down you know it's a struggle that can never be won

Desperate and utter frustrations
Are all that is still left within you
Barely enough to keep you sane
Yet enough to get you through the rest of the day

Continiously asking yourself for the reason why
Never knowing the right answer, no matter how hard you try

For some strange reason you still keep up with this daily charade
And i can't help but ask myself, Why even bother? Isn't it already too late?
