One Step Forward...Two Steps Back

from dusk till dawn, let's celebrate death once again from
the breakfast table to our dinner's plate call it tradition,
whatever you like... i call it irrational and brutal because
we are dancing these days disguised as rational human beings
armed with knives in our hands... we kill everyday like cavemen
in disguise with our own hands tainted with innocent blood slicing
skin once again, we drip blood from filthy money depending
on corporations that are selling us death we drop our heads
in conformity as tears and screams are released again we live
in apathy and we live in denial we take one step forward and
two steps back yet we still call ourselves civilized to close your eyes,
to close your heart is like denying the beauty of life itself
