Storm Clouds

I light the falling shards
Slow motion plea
Of whom we are and what we see
And everywhere
The scent of rain that makes us be;

Through pinprick drops

Angry noises interrupt

The stars have turned assassin

Always thinking but never knowing
My twenty minute mornings
Of dying, killing, sinking, falling

My sorry slowly bleeds
In all I’ve done
