Divine Embrace

Neeno combs her hair and checks her make-up
In the mirror of the closet door
Others wouldn't face this day with gladness
But for Neeno it is not a chore
She's headed down to Tupelo
She's found a treasure in that place
And though she knows her grandad's growing old
A voice within says it's OK
In the divine embrace

Sleeping in the chair amidst the pillows and the children
He is quite a sight
But like the golden dawn he wakes
And manages a smile that fills the room with light
And we are all at once made rich
We see the Saviour in his face
He has lived a life of godliness
And soon he must complete his race

The sights and sounds that bless this home
Fill our hearts with grace
It's easy here to feel the arms
Of God's divine embrace
