Spiritual tidings bestowed amongst the gaggle
The wretched harvester claims his yield, taking from the fields
Veil of winter night coveting those who scorn
Who shun the light and defile the tomb

Within my palace evil dwells
Holy savior sound the bell
Beyond my lips a tainted well
The anchor dwells beneath my sea
The tides wash in, carry me
Upon the shore I cast my plea

Puritanical bliss beseech this mortal coil
Seeking refuge in the sky, cast distain towards the earth
This is a respite

Seeking divinity where the gallows cast their dreadsome shade
Don your spirit with a breastplate to shield this troubled soul
To the warrior, I grant you purpose through trials and tribulations
Your cries of anguish, wherein volumes of strength and truth
Masquerading vengeance, from within

You are not to be loved by all
Relinquish me of my vanity
