It's another day
grey and unending rain
nothing to do but recollect
and wish for some absolution

I've got nothing but time
My life wasted is mine
I have my regrets, but I can't remember
Where it was that I went so wrong
And lost the one thing that made me shine

The first grey day I remember the most
must be the answer
The one where I slipped up and said
that there just happens to be another
