In the mountains of ash and endless gray
An old blind man walks the caves each day
Staff in hand, no fear in his soul
Pure of heart, with faith that won't grow cold

Lost his wife to the cruel embrace of fate
His son devoured by shadows of hate
No hope remained, just silence and wait
For a sign from above, or heavens' gate

Then came the storm, the night torn apart
A shadow from the past, young and dark

Oh guardian of the broken, chosen one so true
Take this fallen fool, make him rise anew
The Shadow left him bleeding, marked by endless fight
You are the undefeated, train him through the light
Heaven's whisper in the wind, a purpose born again
From ashes of despair, a warrior will ascend

The body hit the stone, broken, torn, and frail
Why me? The old man asked through the gale
You never fell before me, strongest of them all
Save this wretched soul before his final fall

Wounds too deep, a path of self-made pain
His own hands carved this ruin, forge him in the flame
Make him stronger than the son who lost his way
He'll be my enemy until the end of days

The Shadow vanished swift as lightning's cry
Leaving only echoes underneath the sky
