Relocate

You've built me up to be
something that I'm not,
and right now,
I think I'll take this shot.

There's no pulpit,
microphone,
or soapbox that can release me
from all of these locks.

Because you scrutinize,
you need to realize,
and stop looking at me
through judgmental eyes.
I stand here a solitary man,
doing the very best that I can.

When I struggle just to stand,
you shove me back to the floor,
leaving me with this question,
can you take this one day more?

the assumptions that died.
We've all tried to pick ourselves back up,
but this slump it remains on you chump.
